Jesse Proudman - CEO

From an early age, Blue Box Group founder Jesse Proudman has demonstrated an aptitude as a do-it-yourself entrepreneur and a work ethic that remained a constant theme throughout his endeavors. With more than 14 years building and leading IT businesses, he's a proven veteran with a range of deep technical skills from web development to systems operations. He has consistently matched his technical proficiency with a constant eye for entrepreneurship and sound business practices. A University of Puget Sound business leadership program graduate, he founded Blue Box in 2003 and has led the company through its growth cycles and managed a boot-strapped company to increasing revenue since then. Proudman continues to infuse Blue Box Group with high standards of customer satisfaction that includes the relentless pursuit of success through personalized solutions that deliver value to customers.

Nathan Kaiser - COO

This University of Washington alumni studied microbiology, but early in his career became responsible for a $15 million product line, which prompted him to seek the advice of regional business experts. Realizing that there was a rich vein of technology and business resources in the Puget Sound and other regions, Kaiser founded nPost to build a community of entrepreneurs, startups, investors, and partners spanning across the United States. Through his work at nPost, Kaiser is in the know about the local, burgeoning online and tech world – and its impact on the rest of the industry. With Proudman, he shares a customer oriented focus and drive to make solutions that work for them – including finding and managing the best people to make that happen.

Stephen Balukoff - CTO

Stephen Balukoff came to Blue Box Group in 2007 with more than a decade in the IT industry. His expertise spans a wide range of experience, including designing and implementing computer security, high-availability, and high-performance server and cluster solutions for both private and public organizations using a variety of hardware, operating systems, and other technologies. As Blue Box Group’s CTO, he has been a driving force in the streamlining and optimization of internal systems, as well as implementing systems and processes to maintain and improve network reliability, security and performance. He is always anticipating any problems that may arise with Blue Box Group customers to bring proactive solutions to the table. Balukoff is used to responding under pressure, having attained his private pilot’s license by passing a test that included a controlled stall and drop in altitude of 300 feet while 5,000 feet in the air. He brings the same approach of a cool head and superior knowledge to projects for every Blue Box Group customer.

Jill Waltersdorph - CFO

Jill Waltersdorph brings 25 years of diverse experience to Blue Box. She began her professional career in public accounting. After earning her CPA, she moved to private industry where she served as controller and CFO for companies in a variety of industries. As part of executive teams, she provided analysis and directed the due diligence process, raising over $20M in capital for private and public companies. As CFO she negotiated lines of credit with banks, designed and implemented financial, manufacturing and accounting systems and helped turnaround and sell companies. Prior to joining Blue Box, Jill worked as a consultant. She performed sensitivity and return analysis for acquisitions ranging up to $50M, and reorganized systems to increase visibility of important management information, created efficiencies, and managed cash flow.
