Onto Seattle 2.0 Awards

We just made it back from a wonderful week in Vegas for RailsConf 2009. It was great to meet such a huge group of people who were very supportive of our product offering. Having your value proposition affirmed by such a strong community makes any event wonderful. Following up on an excellent event, we’re now heading off to the Seattle 2.0 Awards. We’re really excited to have been a Premier sponsor of this event and feel like it’s a great way to give back to the Seattle startup community. What is the Seattle 2.0 awards you ask? A description is below:

The Seattle 2.0 Awards recognizes the amazing accomplishments of the best of over 300 Seattle area technology startups (despite the challenging economy), and the exceptional people who are behind their heroic efforts. We will single out the very best of the best, as judged by the people who knows best: their peers in the startup community. So nominate your favorites, make sure you and your colleagues vote for them, and then attend the awards ceremony on May 7.

The event will be streamed live on the internet, so we encourage you all to check in and watch the festivities. Blue Box Group CEO Jesse Proudman will be presenting the award for Seattle’s Best Startup CEO at approx. 7:30pm Pacific. You can view the stream here: http://www.seattle20.com/awards/live/.
