Blue Box Group announces that it has achieved U.S.-EU Safe Harbor certification status from the U.S. Department of Commerce. Certification requires Blue Box Group to comply with the seven Safe Harbor principles covering: notice, choice, transfers to third parties, access, security, data integrity, and enforcement. These principles are intended to give individuals more control over the accuracy and transfer of personal data. Benefits of this certification for Blue Box Group customers include the requirements for prior approval of data transfers will be either waived or automatically granted by all 27 Member States of the European Union. It also ensures that any claims brought by European citizens against U.S. companies will be heard in the U.S. thereby helping to contain legal expenses.

Additionally, Blue Box Group is slated to earn their SAS70 Type II certification in August, 2010.
